Have you ever watched the show Iron Chef where two extremely talented chefs go toe-to-toe to see who is better at impromptu cuisine. When you get to the end of the show, you are always left wondering what their cooking taste like. Well here is your chance! Located in the hotel of The Modern Waikiki is a restaurant called Morimoto Asia. Iron Chef Morimoto's menu has created a exquisite menu for everyone to try. If your a foodie like me, you can check this off your bucket list!

Whoever said cheap eats taste crappy has never been to Rainbow Drive In! This must visit drive-in restaurant gives you the local taste buds. To the loco moco served with fresh rice and gravy drenched on a sunny side egg with a side of their home made macaroni salad. If you can’t decide what to get. Try out the mixed plate “ Drooolsss “.
Want to try out real Hawaiian food but don't have time to go to a full blown Luau ? Try out Helena's Hawaiian Food. This isn't located in the strip so it is not walking distance. You may want to get a uber driver to drive you here as parking is hard to find, since it is located in a small plaza.
Rent a car and take a drive to the North Shore and try Giovanni's Shrimp Truck. This is worth the drive for the sick view along the way. It was also featured in Diners, Dine-Ins and Dives on the food net work channel. Please note there is two locations they set up shop, so check which one is close to you! Also, if you like spicy, there is a no refund spicy platter. Don't say I didn't warn you.
If your are a PHO-natic like I am, definitely come check out The Pig & The Lady. It's an Vietnamese asian inspired restaurant so do expect some flare on some traditional dishes. It's located in Chinatown and surprisingly, its the cleanest I've seen in the area yet.
We go to Hawaii for the beaches,views and good food!!! Hula Grill is a franchise company that have family restaurants like Duke's and Jake's del mar.So be sure to check them out too!
Got a sweet tooth? Try out the world famous malasadas. Take a quick trip to Leonard's bakery and pick from an array of baked straight goodness.
